Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of an innovative and rapidly expanding national neurodevelopmental provider for a Senior Principal Educational Psychologist. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape and develop a new schools service, working strategically with schools, trusts and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and neurodevelopmental needs.
Working within a clinician-led organisation, you'll combine direct psychological consultation with service development, leadership and innovation, helping to build a high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming service. Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist who enjoys influencing practice, developing people and driving meaningful change across education.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of a national schools service supporting SEND and inclusion.
  • Provide psychological consultation, advice and strategic support to schools, families and partner professionals.
  • Develop and oversee a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership, supervision and workforce development.
  • Deliver training, consultation and capacity-building programmes for schools and educational settings.
  • Provide clinical oversight of cognition, learning and specific learning differences assessment pathways.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, trusts and external stakeholders to support service growth.
  • Support quality assurance, governance and continuous service improvement.
  • Contribute to innovative projects, including neurodiversity training and wider multidisciplinary pathways.
Requirements
  • Doctorate (or recognised postgraduate qualification) in Educational Psychology.
  • Current HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Significant experience working with schools, children, young people and families.
  • Proven experience leading teams, delivering supervision and supporting service development.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, Educational Psychology practice and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
  • Excellent consultation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.
  • Willingness to travel nationally when required.
