About the Role:

As an EHC Assessment and Review Officer, your primary responsibility will be to manage Education, Health, and Care (EHC) assessments and reviews. You will play a vital role in ensuring that educational plans are accurately developed and maintained, directly impacting the support provided to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in SEN and make a meaningful difference in a short-term role.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Conduct EHC assessments and reviews efficiently and accurately
• Liaise with educational institutions, parents, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessments
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and local authority guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of all assessments and reviews
• Support the implementation of educational plans and monitor progress during the review period

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple assessments within tight deadlines
• Knowledge of current SEN legislation and assessment procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
