EHC Coordinator - Permanent Position in South East England

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking dedicated EHC Coordinator professionals to join a reputable SEND & Inclusion Service in South East England. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, outcome-focused Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for young people aged 0–25.

About the Role:

As an EHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the entire EHCP process, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and SEND legislation, and working collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals. This contract is initially for 2 weeks but offers a great opportunity to make a real impact in a well-established service that values its staff. The position offers a salary of £32,378, with a hybrid working pattern requiring 3 days onsite across local hubs in South East England.

Candidate Responsibilities for the EHC Coordinator Role:

  • Manage EHCP processes end-to-end, including reviews and amendments
  • Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and SEND legislation
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to support young people with SEND
  • Act as a key point of contact, providing guidance and support to families and education providers
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous service improvements
  • Keep up-to-date with SEND legislation and best practices in EHCP management

Candidate Requirements for the EHC Coordinator Role:

  • Experience working with Post-14 SEND pupils
  • Strong EHCP management experience
  • Previous Local Authority experience
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
