We are currently seeking a talented EHC Phase Manager to join a busy Education, Health and Care (EHC) team within a South Yorkshire local authority. About the Role:
The EHC Phase Manager will provide leadership across EHC processes, ensuring statutory compliance and delivery of high-quality, child-centred services. You will oversee complex case management, support team members, and contribute to continuous service improvement. Your guidance will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of EHC plans and supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy caseload of complex EHC cases
• Provide oversight and quality assurance of EHC Plans
• Ensure statutory processes adhere to the SEND Code of Practice
• Support and line manage EHC team members effectively
• Offer guidance and support colleagues on complex cases
• Monitor performance, deadlines, and service quality
• Collaborate with education settings, families, professionals, and partner agencies

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Bring significant experience working within SEND/EHC services
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
• Proven experience managing complex EHC cases and statutory processes
• Quality assure EHC Plans and contribute to service improvements
• Lead and support team members while managing priorities
• Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Show a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND
