Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in SEND Tribunal work? We are currently seeking a highly skilled EHCP Partner to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our SEND Operations team, supporting children with Special Educational Needs through statutory Tribunal processes. EHCP Partner Job Overview

The EHCP Partner will be responsible for representing Local Authorities at Tribunal hearings, JADRs, TCMHs, and VCMHs. You will play a vital role in managing appeals, composing R1 responses, and ensuring all statutory deadlines are met. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our SEND improvement initiatives, helping to deliver timely and effective support for children with SEND.


Candidate Responsibilities

As an EHCP Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Representing the Local Authority at Tribunal hearings, JADRs, TCMHs, and VCMHs
  • Managing SENDIST Appeals with efficiency and professionalism
  • Composing R1 responses and other statutory documentation
  • Ensuring all statutory Tribunal deadlines are met
  • Working closely with officers within the SEND Operations team
  • Supporting statutory responses and contributing to service improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in Tribunal work related to SEND Appeals
  • Proven ability to represent Local Authorities effectively at Tribunal hearings
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory procedures
  • Ability to manage complex cases within tight deadlines
  • Experience working within SENDIST Appeals teams
  • Enhanced DBS and Barred list required
  • Daily pay rate up to £300 per day
  • Full-time availability
  • Remote working flexibility
