Electrician (Contract) – Bracknell (40 hours/week)

Job Type: Contract (Initial 12-week temporary contract, with an opportunity to go permanent)
Location: Bracknell & surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Length: 2 weeks (initial assignment; then continues as per the initial 12-week temporary contract)

Candidate Responsibilities

As an Electrician, you will join a well-established maintenance team and deliver high-quality electrical work across residential and commercial properties. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations as an Electrician
• Conducting fault finding, testing, inspection, and remedial works
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards as an Electrician
• Diagnosing electrical faults and providing effective solutions
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Accurately completing job sheets and maintenance records
• Liaising professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times as an Electrician

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this Electrician role, you will ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) is desirable
• Previous experience in maintenance, housing, or facilities environments
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
