A client within the Public Sector based in North London is currently recruiting for an Executive Support Assistant to join their Environment & Communities Executive Support Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within an administrative and executive support environment.
The Role
The key purpose of the role is to provide high-quality and comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Support Manager and PAs, ensuring effective day-to-day operation of the service, maintaining trackers, managing documents, and supporting senior leadership across the department.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Ensuring key documents, reports and MEQ responses are submitted on time and chasing outstanding items
• Establishing, maintaining and monitoring trackers and administrative processes
• Organising meetings, creating agendas, taking notes and tracking actions
• Approving timesheets, raising purchase orders and supporting financial processes
• Providing general administrative support including inbox management, preparing documentation and coordinating activity for the Executive Support Team
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require strong administrative experience, confident IT skills and experience supporting senior managers or teams within a public sector or local authority setting.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Experience coordinating meetings, agendas and action logs
• Experience working with procurement or financial systems (e.g., SAP/SRM)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £18.05 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £15.00 per hour PAYE).
