Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker with experience working with children with disabilities? We are currently seeking an Experienced Social Worker (Adults) to join a dynamic team on a 6-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families while working within a supportive environment.

About the Role

As an Experienced Social Worker (Adults), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to children with disabilities and their families. You will work closely with family support workers and diversionary protection (DP) workers to ensure that the needs of children are effectively met. This role requires a proactive, empathetic approach and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to provide tailored support.

Key Responsibilities of the Experienced Social Worker (Adults):

• Conduct assessments for children with disabilities and their families
• Coordinate with family support workers and DP workers to develop care plans
• Provide practical and emotional support to families to ensure appropriate services are delivered
• Attend and facilitate multi-agency meetings regarding service provision
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation
• Supporting children and families through case work and intervention strategies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policies

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working with children with disabilities
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Valid UK driver’s licence and access to own vehicle for local site visits
• Flexibility to work hybrid hours—3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Benefits and Pay

• Competitive hourly pay rate of £38.00 to £40.00 per hour LTD (negotiable)
• Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
