Position Overview:
The Experienced Social Worker (Adults) will provide vital support across a range of statutory responsibilities, including duty and safeguarding, complex and high-risk casework, Court of Protection proceedings, and preparing for adulthood services. This role is essential during a critical period to ensure continued safe practice and statutory compliance.

Candidate Responsibilities:
As the Experienced Social Worker (Adults), your key duties will include:

• Managing duty and safeguarding pressures with professionalism and compassion
• Handling complex and high-risk casework with appropriate care and oversight
• Supporting Court of Protection work and other formal court proceedings (work continues in line with the June 2026 Supreme Court judgement)
• Assisting with Preparing for Adulthood and other statutory responsibilities
• Reviewing packages of care, identifying entitlement to Continuing Healthcare (CHC), and completing necessary checks
• Attending Discharge to Assess (DTA) meetings and Discharge Support Teams (DSTs)
• Managing demand and reducing waitlists for services while maintaining safety and quality standards
