Family and Immigration Paralegal

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and reputable law firm based in Oldham for a Family / Immigration Law Paralegal to join their growing legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Paralegal with experience in Family Law, Immigration Law, or both, looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors, assisting on a varied caseload while providing high-quality support to clients.
 
Family / Immigration Law Paralegal
Location: Oldham
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
 
Key Responsibilities as a Family/Immigration Paralegal:

• Assist solicitors with a caseload of Family Law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, domestic abuse, and financial remedy cases
• Support on Immigration Law matters such as visa applications, asylum claims, appeals, and settlement applications
• Draft legal documents, witness statements, correspondence, and court bundles
• Liaise with clients, courts, barristers, and third parties in a professional manner

About you as a Family/Immigration Paralegal:

• Previous experience working as a Paralegal within Family Law and/or Immigration Law
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and case management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
