Family Court Advisor our client (Contract)
PAYE: £26.11 per hour
Umbrella: £35.50 per hour
Are you an experienced Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact within the family justice system? We are currently seeking a dedicated Family Court Advisor our client for an initial 3 month contract opportunity based in Essex. This is an excellent chance to utilise your skills in a high-stakes environment, supporting children and families while working with a reputable organisation.
Family Court Advisor our client – Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced social work support to children, families, and the Family Court, ensuring the child's welfare and safeguarding are central to every decision.
- Assess risks and analyse complex cases to develop comprehensive reports for court proceedings.
- Advise on child protection and welfare matters to relevant authorities.
- Conduct visits to children and families across Essex, working directly with vulnerable individuals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for families involved in court proceedings.
- Prepare and present clear, well-structured reports that assist court decisions.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of casework in line with organisational standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
- Proven experience working within family social services or court-connected social work.
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a hybrid working environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare principles.
This Family Court Advisor our client role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute directly to children’s lives while working with a supportive team. The contract spans just 2 weeks, with a hybrid working pattern combining 1–2 days in the office and 1–2 days visiting families across Essex.
