Service Care Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Family Court Adviser to join Cafcass in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to play a key role in family court proceedings, ensuring that the voice and welfare of the child remain at the centre of every decision.
The RoleBased from Osprey House, Hedgerows Business Park, Colchester Road, Chelmsford, CM2 5PF, this is a hybrid position with:
- 1–2 days per week in the office.
- 1–2 days per week visiting children and families across the Essex area.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and risk analysis.
- Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations for the Family Court.
- Advise the court on child protection, safeguarding, and welfare matters.
- Work directly with children and families to ensure their views are heard.
- Manage complex cases involving high levels of conflict and risk.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- A recognised Social Work qualification.
- Social Work England registration.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualifying experience working with children and families.
- Strong safeguarding, assessment, analytical, report-writing, and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex family proceedings.
