Job Title: Family Law Solicitor

Job Overview:
As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, adoption, and financial settlements. You will work closely with clients to provide expert legal advice, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court when necessary. This role offers an engaging environment for legal professionals passionate about family law and committed to achieving positive outcomes.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of family law matters from inception through to resolution
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on family law issues
• Draft and review legal documents, including court forms, affidavits, and agreements
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Prepare cases for court, including gathering evidence and liaising with barristers and other legal professionals
• Attend court hearings and trials as required
• Keep up-to-date with current legislation and case law in family law
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and maintain confidentiality

Required Skills:

• Legal qualification with relevant practicing certificate
• Proven experience in Family Law (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary/Pay Rate:
Competitive salary in line with experience, to be discussed during the interview process.

Contract Length:
2 weeks (initial project with potential for ongoing work)
