The Role As a Family Service Worker, you will work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to deliver targeted interventions that promote positive outcomes and long-term change.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of evidence-based programmes to support children and families
- Undertake holistic assessments and develop tailored support plans
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners across Children’s Services
- Provide both 1:1 and group-based interventions
- Support early identification of need and help prevent escalation
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to performance data
- Engage with families to ensure their voices shape service delivery
- Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Experience working with children, young people and families
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
- Strong communication, assessment and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work as part of a team
- Experience delivering structured interventions and group work
- Experience completing CAF assessments
- Background in youth work, social care or community services
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and high-quality service delivery
