About the Family Support Worker Role

As a Family Support Worker, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored support to families facing various challenges. Candidate Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to vulnerable families
• Assess family needs and develop individualized support plans
• Facilitate family meetings and liaise with external agencies
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation
• Promote positive parenting and child well-being
• Support families through crisis intervention when necessary
• Comply with all safeguarding and confidentiality policies

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal Family Support Worker candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in a family support or social work role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• A compassionate, approachable manner
• Relevant qualifications in social work, youth work, or related fields
