Family Support Workers – Multiple Opportunities Available

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families? We’re currently recruiting multiple Family Support Workers to join a dedicated and supportive team across the Birmingham area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive on helping families overcome challenges, build resilience, and create safer, more stable home environments.

The Role As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide practical and emotional support. You’ll play a key role in early intervention, safeguarding, and promoting positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting families facing a range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
• Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals
• Delivering tailored interventions and support plans
• Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive family relationships

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field – essential
• Experience working with children, young people, or families
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
