Make a real difference where it matters most.
Birmingham is one of the youngest and most diverse cities in Europe — and with that comes both opportunity and challenge. With over 1.1 million residents and more than 32% of children living in poverty, the work you do here will genuinely change lives.
At the heart of this is Birmingham Children’s Trust, a large, forward-thinking organisation of around 1,900 staff, working with a £200m budget to deliver meaningful, lasting impact for children, young people, and families.
Our vision is simple but powerful:
Working together to make Birmingham the greatest city to grow up in.
About the Role As a Higher Level Family Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, targeted early help and safeguarding support to children, young people, and their families.
You’ll take ownership of a complex caseload, acting as the lead professional, coordinating multi-agency plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions that create real, measurable change.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment and is passionate about improving outcomes for families.
