Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with families within their homes and local communities
- Provide practical and emotional support based on individual family needs
- Support parents in developing skills, confidence, and positive routines
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Build strong partnerships with schools, social workers, and multi-agency professionals
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to support and intervention plans
- Manage challenging situations professionally and effectively
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children, young people, or families
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Calm, non-judgemental, and compassionate approach
- Ability to build trusting professional relationships
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Supportive and friendly team environment
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Regular supervision and management support
