  • Provide parenting support and guidance during contact sessions
  • Transport children and young people where required
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and case notes
  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when needed
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing during contact with family members
? What We’re Looking For Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience working directly with children and families in statutory or voluntary settings
  • Understanding of child development and the impact of trauma and stress
  • Awareness of key legislation, policy and guidance in children’s social care
  • Confident use of IT systems and Microsoft packages
Skills & Approach

  • Strong ability to build trusting relationships with children and families
  • Calm and effective in conflict or emotionally challenging situations
  • Confident in delivering interventions and structured support
  • Able to produce clear and accurate written records
  • Committed to restorative and child-centred practice
  • Full driving licence and access to a car (essential)
Qualification

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in working with children and families
? Our Commitment This role sits within a service committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and families. All staff are expected to uphold high standards of equality, inclusion, health & safety, and professional integrity.

We value people who are:

  • Ambitious – for children, families and communities
  • Courageous – willing to make thoughtful, informed decisions
  • Empowering – supporting others to thrive and succeed
