Candidate Responsibilities

As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice and building long-term client relationships using the UNIQ Family Wealth 6-step Financial Planning process (FPSB-aligned). Key duties include:

  • Adopt UNIQ Family Wealth’s 6-step Financial Planning process and provide advice to individuals, families, and family businesses
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims
  • Analyse client information and present Financial Plans suited to individual needs
  • Assess attitude to risk and capacity for loss using the UNIQ risk assessment tool of choice
  • Design financial strategies and support clients to make informed decisions
  • Liaise with financial services providers to stay current with marketplace solutions
  • Review cashflow forecasts and recommendation reports prepared by the Professional Support team
  • Develop new opportunities via referrals, professional connections, and networking
  • Meet regulatory requirements (disclosures, service costs, and advised product costs)
  • Maintain professional qualifications and structured Continuous Professional Development
  • Deliver all responsibilities with integrity, honesty, and professionalism
