About the Role: Fleet Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) (Scp14)

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) (Scp14), your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of fleet vehicles. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of the fleet. This role involves working on a rotational shift pattern, alternating between early and late shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet throughput targets and maintain high service standards.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
• Adhere to the rota pattern: Week 1 6 am - 2 pm, Week 2 1 pm - 9 pm.

Candidate Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Fleet Maintenance Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across various vehicle types.
• Ability to work effectively on rotational shifts.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
