Floor Layer – Contract (2 Weeks)

We are seeking an experienced Floor Layer for a short-term contract lasting 2 weeks (GFSL - DNU). This is a hands-on role installing and finishing flooring to a high standard, with the right candidate able to start promptly and work efficiently to meet onsite deadlines. The role is ideal for a dedicated Floor Layer who takes pride in quality workmanship.

Floor Layer – Candidate Responsibilities

• Measure, prepare, and install a range of flooring materials as required by the project specification
• Ensure subfloors are correctly prepped (level, smooth, clean) before fitting
• Lay and finish flooring to required tolerances, maintaining consistent alignment and neat edges
• Cut and fit around obstacles, fixtures, and doorways accurately
• Follow site rules, safe working practices, and relevant installation guidelines
• Communicate with site teams to coordinate work progress and materials
• Complete finishing tasks (trimming, sealing, and final checks) to deliver a professional finish
