Flushing Engineer

Flushing Engineer (25 Days) – 2 Week Contract (our client - DNU)

We are looking to hire an experienced Flushing Engineer for a short-term contract to support a live site programme. This role is scheduled for 25 Days within an overall 2 week employment period, ideal for a Flushing Engineer who can hit the ground running and deliver reliable, compliant flushing activities.

Flushing Engineer Responsibilities

• Carry out flushing engineering tasks in accordance with project specifications, method statements and site requirements
• Prepare plant and pipework systems for flushing, ensuring correct isolation and safe working practices
• Operate and monitor flushing equipment, recording readings and progress throughout the works
• Work closely with site teams and supervisors to coordinate access, timings and system handovers
• Identify and report issues promptly, escalating risks or non-compliances in line with procedures
• Complete required paperwork, including checklists, test logs and documentation for QA/audit trails

To be considered as a Flushing Engineer, you should have demonstrable experience with flushing activities (pipework systems, flushing procedures, and on-site documentation).
