Urgent Care GP Doctor – Temporary Contract (York) Recruiter: Service Care Solutions
Location: York, Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £80/hour (Ltd)
(PAYE equivalent available upon request)

Contract Type: Locum – 6 to 12 months
Shifts: Flexible – Block booking & ad hoc available
Schedule: Monday to Sunday shifts available

Role Responsibilities As an Urgent Care GP, you will be expected to:

• Conduct patient consultations, including physical exams and history taking
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Prescribe medications and manage repeat prescriptions
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Refer patients to secondary care or specialist services when needed
• Promote preventative care and provide health education
• Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension
• Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne

Requirements

• Fully qualified GP with CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training)
• GMC registration
• Experience in primary care settings
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
