OverviewService Care Solutions are currently recruiting experienced General Practitioners (GPs) to support our Out of Hours (OOH) and Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) services in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity for GPs seeking flexible locum work with competitive pay and consistent shift availability.

Pay Rates (LTD per hour)

• From £80 per hour, uplifted for Nights and Weekends

• Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs)
• GP Out of Hours (OOH) Services

Key Responsibilities: As a GP in this role, you will:

• Conduct patient consultations, including history taking and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and manage repeat prescriptions
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and investigations
• Refer patients to secondary care or specialist services where appropriate
• Promote preventative healthcare and provide patient education
• Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using SystmOne

Essential Requirements

• Valid NHS Smartcard
• Experience using SystmOne
• Previous GP experience within primary care or urgent care settings
