About the Role: Governance and Reporting Manager

As the Governance and Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a central repository of project and programme information, developing regular reports for senior management, and ensuring robust portfolio oversight. Your expertise will support strategic decision-making and optimise project delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Governance and Reporting Manager

  • Provide an Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) function that acts as a central repository of project and programme data.
  • Develop, issue, and present regular summary reports to senior portfolio management.
  • Produce portfolio-level supporting documentation that is accurate, comprehensive, and delivered promptly.
  • Identify discrepancies, suggest improvements, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain a framework to effectively identify, assess, and prioritise risks across the portfolio.
  • Design and oversee reporting structures for programme and project levels to ensure a quick, transparent, and accurate flow of information.
  • Support continuous improvement of governance processes to enhance portfolio performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in portfolio management, governance, or reporting roles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise portfolio management frameworks and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in a government or large enterprise environment is advantageous.
