Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Ground Maintenance Operative to join a Housing Association team on a contract basis. Position: Ground Maintenance Operative
Location: Roehampton, South West London
Contract Duration: 2 weeks (initial contract, possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: £14.78 per hour PAYE inc. holiday | £19.15 per hour Umbrella LTD
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (35 hours weekly)

Candidate Responsibilities for the Ground Maintenance Operative

As a Ground Maintenance Operative, your role will include:

• Supporting the Grounds Maintenance Team in soft landscaping tasks
• Clearing pathways and curbed areas of litter and debris
• Edging grassed areas and maintaining lawn boundaries
• Cutting back hedges and shrubs using strimmers and hedge cutters
• Maintaining health and safety standards at all times
• Assisting with general garden maintenance and outdoor upkeep tasks

The ideal Ground Maintenance Operative will have prior experience in similar roles, be health and safety conscious, and hold a full UK driving license, as a company van is provided.
