About the Gutter Operative Role

As a Gutter Operative, your primary responsibilities will include installation, repair, and maintenance of guttering systems. You will work at height using ladders, scaffolding, and MEWPs, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. This contract is ideal for those who are safety-conscious, professional, and experienced in working in a trades environment. Candidate Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain guttering systems efficiently
• Work at height following health & safety guidelines
• Use ladders, scaffolding, and MEWPs safely and appropriately
• Conduct inspections of guttering systems and identify defects
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all site health & safety procedures and policies
• Complete work independently or as part of a team

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in guttering works or a similar trade (e.g., roofing, multi-trade operative)
• Valid Working at Height qualification/training (essential)
• CSCS Card (preferred or required)
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to work safely at height using ladders, scaffolding, and MEWPs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly rates:
  • PAYE: £14.05 per hour (inc Holiday)
  • Umbrella: £16.96 per hour
• Contract length: 2 weeks, minimum 8-week commitment
