Head of Private Client

Service Care Solutions is working with a long-standing and highly regarded law firm, based in Oxfordshire, which is seeking an experienced Head of Private Client to lead its thriving department. The role offers the chance to shape the future direction of the team while maintaining a hands-on caseload of high-quality work.
 
Role: Head of Private Client (Solicitor)
Location: Oxfordshire – hybrid
Salary: £90,000 to £95,000 plus performance and leadership bonus
 
The Role:

• Lead and oversee a team of 10 Private Client solicitors.
• Drive departmental growth, performance, and client service standards.
• Maintain and develop key client relationships.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making at firm level.

Key Requirements:

• A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE in Private Client law.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a senior or leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
• Strong technical expertise across wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning.
