Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our NHS clients in Worcestershire for an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – Health Visitor to join the 0–19 Public Health Nursing Service.
This is a full-time, temporary position offering an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established public health team supporting children, young people, and families across the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Healthy Child Programme and High Impact Area work within a defined caseload to meet the diverse health needs of the local population.
- Manage a defined caseload of children, young people, and families within a specific geographical area or corporate team.
- Identify health needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care aligned with the wider public health agenda.
- Provide Universal, Targeted, and Specialist services in line with the Healthy Child Programme, including intensive home visiting (e.g. MECSH).
- Act as a role model for colleagues, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
- Behave consistently with the organisation’s values and promote these in day-to-day practice.
- Take responsibility for the quality of your work and the service delivered to service users.
- Under the direction of the Team Leader, develop a specialist area of practice aligned with the Worcestershire Children and Young People’s Plan.
- Retain overall responsibility for a defined caseload, ensuring high-quality care delivery even when tasks are delegated to junior team members.
