Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Household Butler to join a prestigious private family residence in the Channel Islands. This is a fantastic Household Butler role for a discreet, proactive professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional housekeeping and household support. You will work closely with the Head Housekeeper and wider team, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a high-end home.

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 DOE | Employment type: Permanent | Contract length note: 2 weeks (assignment detail)

Candidate responsibilities

As a Household Butler, you will perform a varied, hands-on mix of traditional housekeeping, household support, and service duties, including:

• Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the residence as part of the Household Butler team
• Full housekeeping support: cleaning, tidying, organising, and room preparation
• Laundry, garment care, wardrobe organisation, and high-standard ironing (including luxury/delicate fabrics)
• Managing linens, bed making, towel management, and specialist clothing care
• Stock control: keeping household supplies well stocked and organised
• Greeting family members and guests warmly and professionally as a Household Butler
• Assisting with table setting and light food and beverage service where required
• Preparing guest rooms for arrivals/departures; running errands and supporting household administration
• Helping during entertaining and family events, and assisting with meal preparation when needed
• Chauffeur & transport support: airport transfers, local driving, luggage assistance, and vehicle presentation

To be successful as a Household Butler, you’ll ideally have prior experience in a private household, luxury hospitality, yacht, or similar high-end environment, a calm discreet manner, strong organisation, and a full clean driving licence.
