South West London (with travel across London)

Full-Time | 39 Hours Per Week

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Officer on behalf of a leading provider of domestic abuse support services in South West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join a specialist supported housing service, helping women and families affected by domestic abuse while ensuring high-quality housing management across refuge accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a full housing management service across supported accommodation properties.

  • Manage rent collection, arrears prevention and debt recovery processes.

  • Oversee property health and safety compliance, maintenance and void management.

  • Conduct regular building inspections and risk assessments.

  • Liaise with Registered Providers, Local Authorities and external partners.

  • Support residents with housing benefit, welfare benefit and DWP-related applications.

  • Issue occupancy agreements and maintain accurate housing records.

  • Coordinate repairs and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.

  • Produce performance reports and maintain compliance documentation.

  • Work collaboratively with support staff to maintain safe, supportive accommodation environments.

Requirements
  • Previous experience within Housing Management, Supported Housing or Social Housing.

  • Strong knowledge of rent collection, arrears recovery and housing management processes.

  • Understanding of welfare benefits, DWP processes and housing benefit.

  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within residential accommodation.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Strong IT skills and experience maintaining accurate electronic records.

  • Ability to work sensitively with vulnerable individuals.

  • Understanding of the challenges faced by women and children experiencing domestic abuse is highly desirable.
