Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Officer on behalf of a leading provider of domestic abuse support services in South West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join a specialist supported housing service, helping women and families affected by domestic abuse while ensuring high-quality housing management across refuge accommodation.

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Officer on behalf of a leading provider of domestic abuse support services in South West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join a specialist supported housing service, helping women and families affected by domestic abuse while ensuring high-quality housing management across refuge accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a full housing management service across supported accommodation properties.
- Manage rent collection, arrears prevention and debt recovery processes.
- Oversee property health and safety compliance, maintenance and void management.
- Conduct regular building inspections and risk assessments.
- Liaise with Registered Providers, Local Authorities and external partners.
- Support residents with housing benefit, welfare benefit and DWP-related applications.
- Issue occupancy agreements and maintain accurate housing records.
- Coordinate repairs and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Produce performance reports and maintain compliance documentation.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to maintain safe, supportive accommodation environments.
- Previous experience within Housing Management, Supported Housing or Social Housing.
- Strong knowledge of rent collection, arrears recovery and housing management processes.
- Understanding of welfare benefits, DWP processes and housing benefit.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within residential accommodation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong IT skills and experience maintaining accurate electronic records.
- Ability to work sensitively with vulnerable individuals.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by women and children experiencing domestic abuse is highly desirable.
- Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 - £18.00.
