Housing Support Worker – Homelessness Service – Johnstone, Pembrokeshire

Are you looking for a Housing Support Worker role where you can make a genuine difference to people experiencing homelessness? Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Nacro for the Silverdale Homeless Project, a 24 hour staff supported emergency and temporary accommodation service in Johnstone, Pembrokeshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a trauma informed, psychologically informed environment, supporting adults aged 18+ through crisis and towards independent living.

About the role:

• Person centred, choice based support using the Liberated Method
• Day shifts (8am to 6pm): key work, multi agency collaboration, identifying support needs
• Evening shifts (6pm to 10pm): activities and social inclusion opportunities
• Night shifts (10pm to 8am): safeguarding, safety and site security
• Housing management duties including health and safety checks, fire alarm monitoring and site upkeep
• Working closely with the local authority and multi agency partners

What we're looking for:

• Compassionate, motivated individuals committed to supporting people through crisis
• Previous experience in homelessness, housing, supported living or a similar sector is preferred but not essential
• Full training provided
• Enhanced DBS required (can be processed for the right candidate)
• Available for short term sickness cover shifts
