Insight, Intelligence and Performance Business Partner

Location: Manchester M15 – Hybrid
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract
Salary: £49,050.23 per annum
We are working with a leading housing provider that is looking to recruit two Insight, Intelligence and Performance Business Partners for an initial six-month period.
This is a hands-on Business Intelligence role requiring excellent Power BI capability. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, develop a series of effective dashboards and create automated, end-to-end reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Developing automated, end-to-end reporting processes.
• Connecting and integrating information from sources including SQL Server, MySQL, SharePoint and APIs.
• Using SQL, DAX and Power Query to support data modelling, analysis and reporting.
• Developing reusable datasets, data models and performance measures.
• Managing KPI reporting, including data collection, validation and quality assurance.
• Identifying and resolving data-quality issues.
• Turning complex information into clear, actionable insight for operational and senior stakeholders.
• Using Power Automate and other tools to improve reporting processes and business workflows.
• Ensuring dashboards and reports are accurate, secure, reliable and aligned with agreed KPI definitions.

Requirements

• Excellent hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience.
• Strong experience using DAX, Power Query and SQL.
• Experience developing automated, end-to-end reporting solutions.
• Strong data-modelling and analytical skills.
• The ability to understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
• Experience managing KPIs, performance measures and data quality.
• The ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently and deliver new dashboards quickly.
