Position Overview:

The Labour role at HMP Bedford involves supporting electrical teams during a scheduled weekend project. This position is perfect for individuals seeking a short-term but crucial role within a prison environment. The contract spans two weekends in July, with potential for future opportunities based on project needs.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Assisting electrical teams with various tasks on-site
• Moving materials and tools as needed
• Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Providing general labour support to facilitate the electrical team’s work
• Adhering to site rules and regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in labour support roles preferred
• Valid CSCS card (if applicable)
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Available for the full duration of the contract (two weekends in July)
• Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is essential
