About the Role – Legal Cashier

As a Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions aligned with legal industry standards. Your key duties include:

• Processing internal and external account transactions accurately and in compliance with Solicitor’s Regulation Authority (SRA) rules.
• Managing payments, receipts, and transfers while adhering to anti-money laundering procedures.
• Liaising with fee earners and support staff to resolve financial queries efficiently.
• Maintaining precise and up-to-date financial records.
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedural standards.

The Legal Cashier role at Wrexham is initially offered as a 2-week contract, with potential for ongoing opportunities, depending on project needs.

Candidate Requirements – Legal Cashier

The ideal candidate for the Legal Cashier position will have:

• 1-2 years’ experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm.
• Good understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal cashiering procedures.
• Familiarity with legal accounts software – SOS (Solicitors Own Software) experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
