Legal Secretary – Private Client (Permanent) – Kent (Fully Office Based)

Service Care Legal is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary – Private Client to join a busy Private Client team within a long-established and reputable legal practice in Kent. This is a Permanent position (2-week contract to place/secure the hire), offering a salary of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.

Candidate Responsibilities

As a Legal Secretary – Private Client, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of private client matters, including end-to-end document preparation and client liaison. Key duties include:

• Preparing and amending legal documents such as Wills, LPAs, and Probate applications, as well as related correspondence
• Managing diaries, appointments, and coordinating schedules for fee earners
• Handling client communications professionally and efficiently, maintaining clear records
• Supporting probate and estate administration, ensuring case files are accurate, compliant, and up to date
• Maintaining departmental administration and ensuring priorities are managed effectively across concurrent matters
• Using legal case management systems (experience is advantageous) to maintain accurate documentation and track progress
