Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Lettings Manager to lead our lettings service and help us deliver high-quality homes and excellent customer experiences.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Tenant Services, you'll lead and develop a team of Lettings Officers and Operational Support colleagues, ensuring vacant homes are let quickly and efficiently while delivering an outstanding service to customers.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation and with external partners to continually improve the lettings process, monitor performance and ensure compliance with housing legislation and regulatory standards.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing lettings team.
- Ensure homes are allocated fairly, efficiently and in accordance with organisational policies.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including void turnaround times, tenancy sustainment and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, housing partners and community organisations.
- Work collaboratively with housing management, maintenance and other internal teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.
- Drive continuous improvement and lead change initiatives across the lettings service.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, GDPR, health and safety and regulatory requirements.
- Manage risks associated with vacant properties and maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Prepare performance reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
You'll be an experienced housing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You'll have:
- Proven experience in a lettings management role, ideally within a housing association or similar organisation.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy management and the social housing sector.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to analyse performance data and use it to improve services.
- Experience managing change and implementing new ways of working.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
- Professional qualification in Housing or a related discipline.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).
