Overview of the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing Design & Build Building Services consultancy for an experienced M&E Project Manager.
This role will see you delivering mechanical and electrical projects across public sector, commercial, and residential environments, with a strong focus on retrofit and decarbonisation schemes.
You will take full responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, managing multiple schemes simultaneously.

This role will see you delivering mechanical and electrical projects across public sector, commercial, and residential environments, with a strong focus on retrofit and decarbonisation schemes.
You will take full responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, managing multiple schemes simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Deliver M&E projects typically ranging from £25k–£1m
- Manage projects from feasibility through to handover
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and forecasts
- Procure and manage M&E contractors and specialist suppliers
- Administer contracts including valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Coordinate design information and ensure buildability
- Lead site meetings and manage stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM, and H&S
- Monitor quality, commissioning, and project close-out documentation
- Produce progress, cost, and risk reports
- Proven experience delivering M&E building services projects
- Experience managing projects or packages between £25k–£1m
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working in live or occupied environments
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM, and H&S legislation
- Commercial awareness across cost control and contract management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
- Building Services or M&E background
- Design & Build experience
- Knowledge of low-carbon / renewable technologies
- Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP)
