Candidate Responsibilities
In this Childrens Social Care - Advanced Practitioner role, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex caseload of children and families, ensuring assessments and interventions are timely and effective.
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and agency workers.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory legal obligations and best practice standards.
- Contributing to team meetings, reviews, and case audits to support continuous improvement.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in line with council policies.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Childrens Social Care - Advanced Practitioner or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
- DBS clearance, as required.
