About the Multi-Trade Electrician Role

The Multi-Trade Electrician will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations within social housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in social housing environments and hold the relevant qualifications. This contract spans 2 weeks, with a pay rate of £25.68 per hour (Umbrella), and offers excellent benefits including a company van, weekly pay, and ongoing work.

Candidate Responsibilities for the Multi-Trade Electrician

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation works within social housing properties
• Complete inspections and identify remedial works required
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs effectively
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance within occupied and void properties
• Conduct basic multi-trade repairs when necessary
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and standards
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records using mobile devices
• Liaise professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

Candidate Requirements for the Multi-Trade Electrician

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Experience working within social housing maintenance (preferred)
• Ability to perform basic multi-trade works
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
