JOB TITLE: Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias)

Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias) to join a maintenance team delivering repairs and maintenance across tenanted residential properties in our client, London. This is a 2-week contract (with potential ongoing work), Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

You’ll play a key role as a Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias), completing a wide range of carpentry-focused tasks while also supporting secondary trade duties to keep properties safe, compliant, and in excellent condition.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance as a Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias) within occupied, tenanted social housing
• Complete carpentry works such as door repairs/door installations, skirting, architraves, kitchen repairs, lock changes, and general woodwork
• Support additional multi-trade tasks including basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, painting, and decorating
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard, aiming to fix issues on the first visit where possible
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate records of works completed, materials used, and relevant documentation
• Provide excellent customer service as a Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias), liaising professionally with tenants, supervisors, and colleagues

This Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias) role is ideal if you have strong carpentry experience, have worked in social housing/responsive repairs, and hold a full UK driving licence.
