Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry & Plumbing Bias)

Location: South London (BR, CR, SE, SW, TN16)
Pay: £25 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Benefits: Van & Fuel Card Provided | Weekly Pay

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative with a strong background in carpentry and plumbing to join a growing team within the social housing sector.

This role involves carrying out responsive maintenance and repair works across occupied local authority housing stock.

Areas Covered:
South London including Bromley, Croydon, Beckenham, Orpington, Purley, Coulsdon, Crystal Palace, Sydenham, Streatham, Wimbledon, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-trade repairs with a focus on carpentry and plumbing
• Complete maintenance works in occupied properties
• Diagnose faults and deliver high-quality repairs
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and within timeframes
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative
• Strong carpentry and plumbing skills
• Experience working within social housing (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
