Location: Camden, London
Pay Rate: £27.45 per hour LTD
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per Week

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias) to join a well-established maintenance team carrying out repairs and maintenance works across tenanted residential properties throughout Camden.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with strong carpentry experience who is looking for consistent long-term work with a reputable organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance within tenanted social housing properties.
• Complete a variety of carpentry works including door repairs, door installations, skirting, architraves, kitchen repairs, lock changes, and general woodwork.
• Undertake additional multi-trade tasks including basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, painting, and decorating.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard on first visit where possible.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service when working within occupied properties.
• Liaise professionally with tenants, supervisors, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative with a strong carpentry background.
• Experience working within social housing, responsive repairs, or property maintenance.
• Ability to carry out a range of secondary trade skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
