A client within the Public Sector based in Dorset is currently recruiting for a Lead NEC Housing SME to join their Information Technology team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing systems and configuration environment.
The Role
The key purpose of the role is to provide expert configuration and implementation support for NEC Housing modules, ensuring business processes are optimised to leverage system capabilities and meet the needs of BCP Homes. The role will act as a bridge between business and technical resources, focusing on robust solution designs, supporting standard processes, and minimising bespoke development.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Providing expertise and guidance on the use of NEC Housing modules to support business and technical decision-making.
• Transforming user requirements into technical solution designs and specifications.
• Overseeing and supporting configuration and build of NEC Housing modules.
• Collaborating with business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to refine module designs.
• Championing the use of standard configurations and reducing bespoke development.
• Ensuring data integrity and compliance with housing regulations.
• Developing and executing testing plans for functional testing and UAT.
• Leading knowledge transfer and training for system management.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
• Extensive experience configuring NEC Housing across multiple modules.
• Strong SQL, PLSQL, and Oracle skills with the ability to translate business requirements into configurations.
• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Experience with hybrid system architectures (on-premise/cloud).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing requirements and backlogs.
• Knowledge of systems integration (e.g., MS Dynamics 365, Oracle Finance).
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £350 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £270 per day PAYE).
