NQ Criminal Defence Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm based in Liverpool. They are seeking a Criminal Defence Solicitor (Newly Qualified to 2 years PQE) to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and reputable firm.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility alongside valuable in-office collaboration.

They are paying a competitive salary of £30,000 - £45,000 annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities as a Criminal Defence Solicitor:

• Managing a varied caseload of criminal defence matters from instruction to completion
• Representing clients at Police Stations and Magistrates’ Courts
• Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of criminal matters
• Preparing cases, including drafting legal documents and liaising with counsel

About you as a Criminal Defence Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – 2 years PQE in Criminal Law)
• Police Station Accreditation (preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of criminal law and procedures
• Excellent advocacy, communication, and organisational skills
