Candidate Responsibilities
As a Nuclear Cost Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting detailed SPI, CPI variance analysis and root cause investigations, including preparation of narrative reports, recommendations, and recovery plans.
- Assisting in the creation of the Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and preparing cost studies using historical data.
- Providing trend analysis data to help project managers identify emerging issues and opportunities.
- Monitoring actual expenditure versus forecasts, producing cost reports, and highlighting any early warnings or variances.
- Supporting the preparation, monitoring, and control of project forecasts and budgets, including change control processes.
- Performing system interrogation and performance measurements related to costs.
- Assisting in resource utilisation reviews, manpower productivity assessments, and resource constraint identification.
- Maintaining high standards in safety, environment, health, security, and quality practices.
