Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Nurse Practitioner (Prescriber) to support one of our NHS partners in Derby. This role is ideal for advanced clinicians seeking flexibility and autonomy within a busy urgent care environment.

Role Overview As a Band 7 Nurse Practitioner Prescriber, you will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for patients presenting with a range of urgent and unplanned conditions. You will use advanced clinical skills to manage both minor illness and minor injury presentations.

Role Overview As a Band 7 Nurse Practitioner Prescriber, you will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for patients presenting with a range of urgent and unplanned conditions. You will use advanced clinical skills to manage both minor illness and minor injury presentations.
Qualifications (where applicable):
- V300 Non Medical Prescribing (Band 7 & Band 8a)
- Advanced Physical Assessment & Consultation Skills (Level 7)
- Minor Injuries Qualification (Level 6 or Level 7)
- X?Ray Interpretation
- Ability to assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe independently
- Strong autonomous clinical decision making
- Experience in urgent care, walk in centres, same day emergency care, GP out of hours, or similar settings
- Confident working with both adult and paediatric presentations
- Comprehensive advanced patient assessment
- Differential diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans
- Evidence based prescribing (V300)
- Management of minor injuries, including: sprains, strains, wounds, burns, simple fractures
- Management of minor illness, including: respiratory, ENT, dermatology, abdominal, urinary, and viral conditions
- Paediatric assessment where required
- Appropriate escalation, referral, and safety netting
- Accurate clinical documentation
