Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities? Medway Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our 0–18 Disability Service, supporting children and families to live safer, more independent lives.
About the RoleAs an Occupational Therapist within our Equipment and Adaptations team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions. Using a strengths-based approach, you will carry out specialist assessments, apply clinical reasoning, and identify tailored solutions to support independence, safety, and wellbeing.
You will work creatively with a range of equipment, enablement techniques, and housing adaptations—from minor adjustments to major works—making best use of resources such as Disabled Facilities Grants. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver holistic support that improves quality of life for children, young people, and their families.
