We are currently recruiting for a skilled Occupational Therapist-Grade F to join the OT Complex and Sensory Team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. About the Role

The Occupational Therapist-Grade F will be responsible for conducting assessments within the OT complex, including managing complex moving and handling cases and recommending significant adaptations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting service users by providing expert assessments and intervention plans aligned with their needs.

This is a contract position offering a flexible working pattern: working two days a week onsite at Kensington Town Hall and three days working remotely, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. You will be working within a supportive environment that values expertise and innovation in occupational therapy.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments, including complex moving and handling evaluations
• Develop and recommend major adaptations to improve service users’ quality of life
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues within the OT Complex and Sensory Team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions
• Document assessments and interventions thoroughly in line with organisational procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy, particularly related to moving and handling techniques

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist-Grade F or equivalent
• Proven experience in complex moving and handling assessments
• Strong knowledge of major adaptations and disability-related interventions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
